Hey guys im changing a new block soon...

bt i dont really know when the running-in finish..

bcos i dont hav speedmeter & mileage meter spoil need help

hw?

i want to sell my 125z for $500

 

interested buyers may want to use for track

as u only rebuid the engine.

estimate by the amount of times u top up ur full tank? or get it fixed hahaha... Just some random ideas...

since ur already going to change to a new block, then spend some more go top up for the other repairs

 

then for running in, dont exceed rpm 4 for first 800km... dont believe bull crap of ppl saying that running in follow speed

 

its to follow rpm, then next 800 dont exceed 6

 

when i say dont exceed rpm 4 for 6, doesnt mean u can wack to that rpm... no.... be easy on throttle.

after all know its limitations... after all its only a 2b bike

 

im talking from my own experience, my ex-tzm went for overhaul too

Sept 06 - Feb 08 = TZM

Feb 08 - April09= CB 400 Version S

May 09 - Oct 10 = Harley XR1200

Oct 10 - Oct 12= KTM SMT 990

Oct 12 - Oct 13 = Tmax 500

Mar 13 - Jul 13= SYM maxsym 400

Jul 13 - Sep 15 = Getz 1.4

Oct 15 - Now = Burgman 650

Going by the tank is one good way, for example, if you know your bike can go 240km on 1 full tank, you can have a good estimate for your first 500km, 1000km. :)

 

And more precise alternative would be to have a GPS to clock your milage.

Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.

i understand yr info.... gg to get my bike tmr... as my speedmeter n mileage nt working...the situation here is that i cant estimate the km im running...

bt all i know my destination travel for evryday transpot is ard 50 kmh per day... hmm....running in 5 to 6 rpm, will that be okay?

just remember dont hit about 6 to 7k rpm... n dont drag your first 3 gears... then if u really really really got money, be like me... u run in for 1000km then u full service your bike... clean everything then at the same time do your setting... after that sure power... haha, trust me... in 1 year of using my tzm, i change block 2 times, conrod 2 times and piston i think 6 piston... hahaha...

yup ur right, after running make sure do a full service
