bad experience

i bought a 2nd hand gilera 05 model from dis shop at Eunos Industrial. but im very pissed off with their services. when i 1st bought d bike, they say collect within 8-10 days. but i collected d bike 1 month after. collect alrd nvm, only ride for 1 day. d next day when i want to start d bike cannot start. it makes more pissed off. d salesperson tell me dat he alrd service everything but in d end d bike cannot start. its bcos d battery didnt change. now im waiting for my bike which is at d shop. promise to be ready by today but they still havent call.

 

some more they ask another 1 more guarantor bcos im only 19. wth?? i tot of terminating my contract from d bike shop. but can i get my refund if i were to terminate?? help pls.

dun try to terminate. you can never fight the tenacity of the bike shops. they can throw lawyer letter anytime they want. Unless you drive ferrari down to the shop, then they may kneel down and kiss your feet, roll over and then return all your money.

 

If not, try to clench your teeth, be patient and accommodating, nicely negotiate with them how they can solve your problems. the only way you will get what you want, is you roll over, lick their feet and hope they reciprocate with some acts of kindness. (dun bother saying customer is always right, to most bike shops, a young poor biker is always wrong lol, true story)

Not relating to this case - as a general comment - It is always good to have everything in writing so that you will have documentary evidence. If the shop is not willing to put down what they promise on a piece of paper and sign on it - then you should seriously think twice about continuing with the deal - after all 'talk is cheap'.

 

Anyway - there are numerous kind hearted souls in this forum who have indicated which are the shops that are reliable and those that you should consider staying away from - it is wise to heed their words.

agree with you! as during my bike servicing last week at ahm, did heard from my mech that gobal motorsport boss is the boss of everbright, to be sure should be steven or stephen(dont know which spelling word). regardless, as long as the boss same, the practice will be same, so i will rather avoid if really want to purchase a bike, or will end up like our friend above now, complaining and sad over his runner
