TP test

Hi i have some queries about the tp 2b test

1. How long roughly can i expect to wait for first tp date after i pass my final lesson 8 (CDC) if i book immediately?

2. What is the test like, will the tester be following us on bike, or we ride on our own and the tester is stationed at certain spots?

3. How many times did YOU take to get your license? Is it very difficult to pass on the first try?

4. What does it mean to "look out for side roads" (i read it on sgforums)

 

My lesson 8 is on the coming tuesday.. so I'll also be asking my instructors these question then but please enlighten me first! haha thanks. quite anxious to get my license before Dec. Possible?

1. 1-2 mths depending on no. of applicants during that time

2. independant riding with about 10 testers stationed at certain points

3. 1, not really..imo it depends on how confident u are in handling the bike

4. minor side roads which branch out to/from the main road, may include roads into carparks or to buildings, etc

 

ur instructor shud brief u in detail on the routes and where to stop/perform relevant checks..

on tp day itself another briefing will be conducted just before warm up..

 

dec ah..i heard now tp dates ard nov..if u pass 1st try maybe? at max 2 tries but must see slot availability.
