AT to me is one of the most reliable bikes around...Been riding it 4 yrs n sold it full accessories for only 10k. Got no choice as i have to take care of another bike n financially abit short. Else i would have kept it. At that point of time I Have had trouble selling it at first but shortly after i sold it, ppl start calling me.

 

just my 2 cents...

AT compare to varadero..

AT is more offroad looking compared to vara.

AT is slightly lighter compared to the old vara 1000 which looks so bulky.

AT is less powerful than vara partly due to the CC difference.

Lastly the AT is like bombproof and blardy low maintenace bike i ever known for its class.

BAd thing is that the tires are not tubeless so if u got a punctured tire...good luck..Need a few tools to change one tube.

 

Overall honda bikes are known for its long lasting engine.

I would recommend anyone to get one. I might get my bike back once i got bored with my current bike.

Do you have the problem of the seat cushion absorbing water because of the many sewing on the corbin design?

Thinking of re-doing it with an extra plastic or leather underneath. Any other nice new design other than the corbin one?

The seat that i did in thailand was covered with a plastic sheet underneath the "leather". So far no seeping of water.

Think it was around $20 when mine was done by a previous owner 2 years ago. Corbin type design. Re-wrapping only though, not a new seat.

Around $800baht. Cut foam, add foam and cover. Msg Trailnet, we just went 2 weeks ago and he did his.
