First of all bro go to hospital to do necessary check up on yourself first. Check that every part of your body is fine. Tell the doctor you are involved in an accident and he will send you to all kinds of checkup.

Since you can already walk, after your MC period, go straight to TP to lodge an accident report. Bring along all necessary documents such as your IC, driving licence, MC(and other doctor's report), insurance for your bike involved in the accident etc. It doesn't matter how long your MC or hospitalisation leave just rest and recuperate first then you go lodge a report.

For me I could not walk for 3 months after my accident. I only lodged the police report only after I could walk which is 3 months later!

Next is to repair your bike. My advice is to go to a very reliable bikeshop to repair your bike. One most reliable bikeshop in the west should be HKL. If I had known I would have sent my bike to HKL and not be stuck in a problem with the current bikeshop! The bikeshop boss will ask you about the accident, ask for police reports etc. Tell the bikeshop boss about your accident and if he feels you have a high chance of winning then he will refer your case to their own liasing law firm. Ask them all the questions you need to know. Never ever go ahead with any repair works if you feel that they will cheat you. There are plenty of other bikeshops around.

Hope you have a speedy recovery.:thumb:
