hey guys.. im having a big problem for quite some time nw.. for some reason, my 2t level just decreases too much too fast.. i top up yesterday (to full), and today the 2t indicator light went off already.. i decided to check on the 2t container.. worrying that maybe the indicator was giving a false indication of the 2t level.. but to my suprise, the 2t had went down to abt half or so.. there were no leakage what so ever (checked when bike was left overnight).. i went to a bike shop few days before.. they told me that e 2t open too big.. thus causing the 2t to decrease alot.. so they just make it smaller.. apparently, that didnt do me any good.. feel sucky havin to go to bike shop over and over again regarding the same old problem.. waste of time and money.. can anyone advise me on what i should do or check on? thnks in advance..

What bike is this? You might want to get a mechanic to close it further, but don't close it too much as the piston might just jam up if theres not enough 2t to lub it.

My suggestion would be you can ask the mechanic to close it up and see if it leaks, mean time premix it with around 20:1 liter of petrol and see how it goes. Assume that you have a SP, it would take probably around 3 weeks or so for the 2t to be used up, but also it will depend on how often you ride the bike.

Good luck! :)

if you want to check for leaks, ask your mech to close it to the minimum. leave it for a few days (without riding). then see if the level decreases.
