like to ask , upon finishing installment from bike shop,what stuff to expect from them? bike log card ? pls advice !!!:dozed:

 

and also if i pay them via cheque,will i be able to get my receipt or have to wait for them to rc the amount first?

Once Bike has been fully paid for, the Shop will Transfer Full Ownership 2 U. Juz need 2 wait for LTA letter 2 b mailed 2 Ur hse. In any case U can also check online if i'm nt mistaken. Letter shld reach U within a week, stating "Transfer of Ownership", Bike has been Transfered 2 Ur name...

btw for New Bikes, Shop will also give U the 2nd Set of Keys upoon clearing Ur last instalment, in any case that they didn't U can alwayz ask them. Most 2nd Hand Bikes also gt spare sets of keys, juz need 2 ask...

thx u guys for reply ! guz i have to wait for the receipt and the transfer of onwership paper..for the 2nd key i think i have the 2 keys when i first bought the bike,is that the case??

As far as i am concern Shop will alwayz keep an extra set of Key, juz in case they need 2 Tow ur Bike for Late Payment etc... :cheeky:

wait until ur check cleared, then head down to the bike shop and retrieve ur original log card and if applicable the original second set of key......

ask them for acknowledgement of final payment and receipt...

then check lta on line using ic no. and bike reg no....then this is it...congratulation for being the lawful owner...
