I got my bracket from SengKwan for $160, $20 is for black powder coating. Box is standard from GIvi 45litres, $160 from ah boy.

ok thanks! But does hong leong impose a surcharge for your own oil and spark plugs? (Something like BYO wine corkage surcharge in the restaurants).

Well. so it's a customised rack i presumed? Well. i was quoted $180 at Chiap lee for the Rack. Not too sure whether it is worth it rather than going to SengKwan. Why didn't u get the one made for the fazer ?

Gsxxer: Lets meet up at the selegie kopitiam sometime and gather some other fazers. If ye wanna put box for touring, I urge ye put the Hepco and Becker top box, very very sturdy, rack is very well built.... but *gasp* 300 bucks. Personally I think well worth it. Oh I not putting box... planning to use soft pannier for touring. :shades:

 

I would urge all to at least try servicing basic stuff on your bike once to get to know ye bike better. try this link for advice http://www.cartest2000.com/fz1/ :D

Yes, they inpose a charge of $5 for ur own oil.

Givi does not have a rack for my fzs600, So went to sengkwan, For the fzs1000, i bought the GIVI rack from Chiap lee at $120 plus air freight another $20. I think he waive off the $20 for me. For $180, i think u kena chop to pieces liao :eek: The givi rack not bad, its fits perfectly for the fzs1000.

Then again I saw Supertoad's Fazer at Selegie Kopitiam yesterday. No sight of the man. Anyway, lets arrange. Is Weekdays ok with you guys? This Tuesday and Wed is fine with me. 29th,30th??

Man, your bike is sexy in yellow and black, your engine guard too how much again and where from?

Hehheheh I saw ye coming but din now who you are. Just set a date I try and make it. weeknights are ok but not too late, I stay in one. :D

hey thanks for the compliments man. My Engine Guard costs $150 from Looi's motor but I took the one and only that is left cos they only brought in 1 piece. anyway, it is priced at $180 but I got it cheaper based on the long service award with them. :lol: no lah... I "ar" with the parts guy lah.

I got the original yamaha engine guard at $150 at Looi's. The last one i think. I also dunno where is SengKwan. :lol:

Oh yes it can be used in the track as well. The Fazer is actually a between a street bike and a sportsbike because of a de-tuned R1 engine. :p

 

The Angmohs in europe do use the fazer for track. :D

Any of you went to Ceneileisure Orchard yesterday? Saw a Fazer 1000 with a silver fairing and blue tank hmm.. can you choose your own colors?

The other day saw another Fazer along the CTE.

Seems the number of Fazer riders in Singapore is growing.
