Anw, Any bro can confirm me Honda Parts distributor is at Rowell Road?

Yep...FJT is one of the distributors of honda parts...from what i know if they have no ready stock, they will call up a few other distributors nearby or Boon Siew for the parts.

If die die no stock have to wait for a month, currently i'm waiting for my auto choke wax unit and some mainstand collars for my blackbird..

Hello! Great thread, and I'm late to the party as usual. Seems like you already got your clutch holding tool, but there's an old school method that I've used personally in the past on a harley engine, and it works very well on all kinds of bikes, and you don't need any special tools.

What you do is remove the spark plugs, find the compression stroke on one of the cylinders, then once you've found it, reverse the crank till the piston is at BDC. Start feeding in nylon rope (don't use cotton rope because it'll fray and leave bits in the cylinder) till the whole cylinder is filled with rope. Kick the bike in gear, and once the piston jams against the rope, it'll lock the drivetrain and you can get the clutch nut off.

To easily get red loctite nuts/screws/bolts off, get one of those butane lighters they sell at the pasar malams. Heat around the screw, moving the heat source around, and it'll melt the loctite and the screw will come off easily.

Be careful when putting back the shifter assembly. There'll usually be instructions on how to align the shifter shaft before torquing down the holding bolts. The clearance given must be followed exactly, because if the shaft is not aligned properly, you will have problems changing gears later on, like not being able to kick into 5th, or not being able to kick down to first etc.. Having to tear everything down again and buying additional gaskets will be a real pain in the behind. Learned from first hand experience. :D

Looking forward to your updates, and all the best!

PS: How do you sleep with the smell of burnt oil in the room? heheheheh
