Need help with iPhone.

My iPhone contct with a lil water while riding in the rain, the phone is in my bag. Now when I play game or music the sound won't come out but when there is a call comin in or I went to setting to play with my ringtone it will sound out. Play game b music both mute now.

by right iphone kana rain should be ok... unless u drop into drain or basin or anywhere with alot of water(aka submerged the phone in liquid). And if u did ur usb cable port + ur headphone port will light up red in color.

 

try checking whether the speaker is being blocked or obstructed by something...

The chargin port got abut reddish below, always got a message that says "accessoris not comtible something like that. Then keep poppin out. Now my phone only a month old, wonde if singtel check the internal if not I go change my chargin port n go for 1-1 xchange

Since it's still under warranty, why not just go to Singtel and demand for a 1-1 exchange or at most repair your phone.

Singtel dun do repair, they only do 1-1 exchange, they shine a torch n manage to see the charger port has red stain which indicate water sipin in, if I change chargin which will erase that trace, only wondering whether thy willfurrher investigate neorealism they do the 1-1 change

It's under warranty, demand the exchange. Create some ruckus, they will change it for you.

I dun think is possible even u create a scene leh the prob now is I need to know whether will they do a thorough check before they do

a exhange, if they won't then I change the chargin Oort to make it

look not

obvious then can change already

hmmm... i have checked with iphone tech support on this issues also and according to them, their iphone is said to be quite water resistant unless it is completely submerged into water (this point u may want to double confirm with Apple again)

 

so far, water damages or non-device related issues are not covered under warranties and i personally would not advice u to make create a scene @ any of the customer service centers (be it ur telco or apple) since i m currently into customer service line(very de-moralising to the agents and their managers, u know).

 

u may want to try settling the issues out peacefully with them

No...all these is not the issue, is they see indication for below is red which means water sip in they straight not wiling to change n I really needs know whether they will

open up the phone to check

i foresee they(telco) will less likely be opening up the phone to check coz once the phone opened up, the warranty by then will be voided irregardless wat the problem is.

 

if they open up the iphone, and found out not issues and if user reports a problem once the open up the iphone, then the telco maybe liable to replace a new phone for u (coz indirectly, they "spoilt" the phone n cause it to be out of warranty). So case to case basis whether or not will they(telco) open up the phone.

 

wat i really foresee is that they will refer u to Apple instead (if i m not wrong, ST practises this) and for Apple, they will(most likely) open up the phone.

got no link if I am not wrong, if 1-1 exchange is allow will be ontje spot at comm centre singtel. But if for their part they won't open up I van actually open up n change the chargin port n they won't find any faults cuz opening

up dun really show any sign as there is a warranty seal,just dun break the seal inside
