yeah...

when open, all open like flies....

alot at one go...

then when close, all also close like dead flies..

singapore is a country of fads lah..

like bubble tea n yoyo's

very few people are really passionate about something...

n quite sad really..

from education to recreation,

everything to singaporean also a fad...

n i keep fishes kos i think they're pretty..

i used to keep freshwater when i was young.. Haha! :cheeky:

anyhow keep them.

 

From swordtails to tiger barbs to goldfishes etc etc..

I saw my fren keep an aro way back then, since then i loved it..

 

My 1st was a silver..

Last was a gold..

then never buy red or green or whatever colour they have now??

thinking of discus actually....

requires less space....

 

ahaha...

everytime i get swordtail all die..

i got my friend to buy the wild sort for me..

the one with a silver base colour with olivegreen dots..

not the typical red colour...

but all keep jumping out from the tank n eventually die..

 

used to keep salamanders too..

still havent found the one i lost 6 yrs ago...

I know!.....

all jump kos no tank lid..

ahahaha...

then the salamander, i bought 2..

then go obs 10 days..

come back, 1 i find in the corner of my house, dried..

the other never find until today.

ahahahaa...

 

haizz..no space in my house lah...

i was thinking of setting up a new discus tank this june..

but in the end, it was not to be..

do you know how to maintain a planted tank???

kos all the plants i have keep dying on me

Arowana ,for start keep cheaper 1s 1st,1nce got experince den can go to higher grades,to buy gd arowana ,must bring along someone who noes how to see good quality/grade arowana.

 

At 1st the setup is quite hard,1nce the tank gets running its ok,and just maintain the filters.....

 

Try the popular shop at machperson or the 1 at chinatown,their price is good and the quality of the fish is good.

I got aros thrice before.

 

All of em, i bought them at serangoon. There used to be a lot motr shops there.

Now oni a handfull left.

Yea true, always run the water for at least 2-3 days to be safe.

 

Filters are very important too.

ala, last time i got 2 tanks what...

the ones i put my swordfish in was my 1st proper tank..

an acrylic one....

for some reason it didnt come with a lid...

too busy with work??

me too..

everyday come hm at midnite..

morning go out at 7.30..

if keep fish also no time to enjoy...

if u go japan or germany, then can keep koi..

i dunno y the germans are mad over koi

but germans being germans, are serious n passionate about koi..

probably picked up the hobby during WWII eh?

ahahahaha

but yeah..

n i have to admit..

the kois are damn nice...

but still, not worth the money if u ask me...

but i always scared to buy expensive fish..

kos if die...

then chialat...

the most ex fish i bought was a $20 discus
