I think L4D 1 was better. It was a new concept, simple yet entertaining. Was addicted to it for a week.

 

L4D2 came out too fast, with way too little upgrades. I would think that its more of a mod than an actualy game. The characters are not as defined as L4D1. The campaigns almost feel the same unlike L4D1. Worse of all, i feel that the infected in VS are not as powerful as the first game. Yes they have more now, but they do much less damage that the first game. The part i hate the most is that when the hunter leaps, he is slower and has a "Wake" behind him. It makes him easier to spot and is not as scary as the first game. Not only that, the generic infected is not as smart as the old game. They will make unnecessary rounds and turns sometimes to attack you, they get too confused and you laugh at their AI.

 

Tell you the truth, i still feel more suspense playing L4D1 than i do playing L4D2 now.

 

L4D1 was a good casual game for old time gamers like me. But in L4D2, we expected more, only to be dissappointed by just a lil more stuff in it.

 

I wish L4D3 would have customizable weapons with about 16 players in them. Infected could evolve and stuff like that. If anyone played Natural Selection, you guys would catch my drift. Google Natural Selection: Half-Life.

Yea true, its not as scary as the first one. I literally jumped off my seat when I was playing L4D1..the second one is too predictable. Like what u said, the stoopid zombies would run around in circles before attacking you. I heard that they will introduce a patch where the characters in l4d1 would meet l4d2, dont know when. After the first month of playing L4D2, it gets boring. And I hate the characters is part 2. Part 1 was better. FRANCIS!

 

Now im playing Age of Empires III

quite an all right game to play together with friends... but cannot play too long. will get headache like fried rice.

 

but i think me and my friends very lousy lah. got 1 stage is where they collect the fuel and top up the car. we took almost 2 hour to finish that game in normal mode.

I don't get a headache from playing that game. Been playing too many FPS games in my life. What is making your giddy is the camera shake. If only we could remove camera shake...

 

Anyway TS, AOE3 was a disappointment. I really loved AOE2 but AOE3 felt very rigid and felt like AOM which i hated. Sian. They should do a remake of AOE2 in AOE3 graphics without the population cap limit.

haha nvr played l4d1 before. my friend intro me to this game. so just play lor.

 

first time play so giddy that i cant continue. have to stop and rest..

 

not really a gamer. just like the fact that i can shoot and kill seeing all the blood. very good destresser.

I would agree to it that L4D 1 is better than L4D 2. L4D 2 is not as good as that compared to L4D 1 but is certainly better than many others. The graphics of L4D 2 is awesome and that made the gaming more enjoyable.

try realism mode if you're bored with the normal gameplay.

forces you to really work as a team

 

that said, versus mode for l4d2 is really fun, it's like CS with zombies, good test of skill

 

there's scavenge mode too (too little maps though)

AGREE! i bought the aoe3 trilogy which includes asian dynasties but i still dont know what the hell the 'deck' section are used for, ao2 was so much better. i was surprised ao3 did not have the 'patrol' option when selecting the troops...its only, 'attack' 'stop' and something like that. Most of the time i use the cheats when it gets too difficult. I think im gona get back ao2

The deck is to get shipments from your hometown. You can only get a maximum of 20 cards. So when you have unlocked and selected your desired cards, use them in game when you have gained enough experience points. So basically in the game if you are low on a certain resource, you can send it to your colony to get free stuff and technologies.
