outright hp power doesn't mean fastest to 100.

fastest to 100 also doesn't really equate to fastest in a normal everyday driving where roll on eg 60 to 100 is perhaps more important.

How come daihatsu don't make small turbo cars anymore? Still remember the old old Charade GTti turbo? The more recent YRV turbo. Now got nothing.

Copen is not exactly ...er..... performance car. No doubt u can upgrade it but stock form, the turbo is merely to ....err.... supplement the car engine.

 

Besides Copen, there is also the 'Mitsubishi i'

 

Sadly GTTi is unlikely to get revived. It will never pass todays emission laws.

This car costs 13300 quids brand new. Which should be SGD31000. 0km/h-100km/h expends a mere 6.5sec.

 

Throw in a COE and the cars costs something like 50K? Try bringing them in as individual parts and assemble it in Singapore. I think you can evade the 100% import tax for car this way. But you have to pay in full in one shot. But on the other side, you gain the priceless honour of being to first to own it in Singapore.

Dun need to think of importing ur staff in n build urself, n if ur budget is ard 50k mayb u can buy a EG6/EG9/Ek9/Ek4 wif full mod clocking 6-7sec for 0-100.... Most to most u oni fine for illegal mob but rather then u import in funny car tat they neber see before.........

my pov is 50k i will get a EK9 for that price... or other model/makes, 50k for a EF, EG, EK4 is abit high to me... including the red one from the famous workshop

For Ek4 cost about 28k-36k depand on which yr u buy, EG average 10-15k( haven renew coe wif slight mob), 22-26k( wif new coe n slight mob)... If u like to play ard gt a twin cam liike EG or EK, cuz tat is e car tat u can feel it.........

COE is tremendously expensive now. I wonder what happened to the 'ERP is meant to make car ownership affordable' philosophy... With more ERP sprouting up, what about the COE prices?

Saw this new Chevrolet Aveo RS in Sunday Times. Will be a very good buy if it comes to sg.

Yes it's the spare car. Got 2 other cars at home plus my bike, so it doesn't get driven much, maybe twice a week. I'm not even going to opt for the revised OPC scheme coming up cos i don't need the added hours of usage. I prefer riding anyways.
