Okay here's the scenario:

I'm planning to buy a 2nd hand Honda NSR from a fellow forumer. I'm short on budget, lets say about 800. The seller decides that I pay her and shop in installment to settle the price of bike.

Then, she would add me as 2nd rider. I'm 18 and she's 19. I would then be riding her bike with her insurance as we have similar amount of premium (therefore I don't have to top up).

Ownership of the bike will still be under her name until I finish settle the full price of bike, that's when I'll buy my insurance and transfer the bike to my name as main rider.

Is the scenario on top possible? Especially the insurance part?

well , wat u have said is simply COI her bike until finish , as long as u have valid insurance, you can ride the bike no matter who is the owner of the bike , but the thing is for COI there have to be a mutual trust between u and the owner , becoz if u lose the bike , the owner liable , if the owner wan take back anytime , by black and white she can . this is the suppose scenior , happy ending is , u finish the loan , the bike transfer to u :)
