canon printer alignment problem

i have a canon mp245 printer and i'm having printing alignment issues.

 

for example, when i print some "handouts" - 3slide per page in powerpoint, the paper would shift downwards and with that, the 3rd slide would be printed halfway and there would be alot of space on top of the 1st slide.

 

i tried using the "maintanence" button and i tried cleaning the rollers, alignment etc... all tests seems okay.

 

den i tried reinstalling the driver and stuff again, still would haf this problem.

 

the funny thing is, out of 20 times or smth, ONCE it might be okay.... does anyone have this problem??? any advices? is it printer problem or software or smth that i missed out...

 

*e only thing i've done which is not "legal" is to buy those ink and refill myself... yep.. i had this problem even with original ink cartrige...

Easiest is to go to Canon Support.

 

Could be any problem, driver not compatible, paper feeder issue.

 

When it does the alignment test, everything in place? No issue with top empty bottom not enough?

 

Hope you have some form of warranty.

Try to download the LATEST firmware and software from canon website. If still the same i guess it's time to bring down to the service centre to have it check.

 

Lucky i using HP printer 3 in 1 and not Canon.

actually with HP or CANON AIO will face this alignment problem as long as it is not those paper cassete tray type.

 

Paper loaded more than 20 or more will find the alignment go off abit when printing bulk copies.

 

Advice try printing the alignment pages every time before u want to print bulk copies or worse scenario is to visit their service centre at harbour front there.

 

 

Because right now all product are or MIC ( MADE IN CHINA ) . Its really back to individual preferences =)
