Allianz Insurance for a 25years old biker

Hi all,

 

I am new here.

I was just renewed my road tax and insurance by beginning of this month as road tax expire on 18th Feb.

 

I was quoted $449 for a fire &theft third party insurance.

I drive the bike since 2008 and no accident involved.

I am 25 years old, born in Oct 84.

Driving age: 2years in Singapore(convert licence at 31 Jan 2008) and 4 years in Malaysia

Insurance company: Allianz Insurance

 

Do this insurance cost consider expensive? What should the correct insurance quote is? Do the motorshop overcharge me?

If yes, can i take back the overcharge?

Would Allianz count the NCD automatically and give rebate back to bike owner? I have viewed the price range for my age. It's around the price, $400+.

as long paid is paid. now ask for rebate?

 

same goes, if bike shop overcharge u, what can u do? cos u renew through them.

 

anyway dun understand what u mean count ncd and rebate, cos they got the record if u got ncd if not wrong. cos it tag with the owner particulars if not wrong.

 

 

 

***ncd is based on ur previous vehicle (so bike is only valid for bike, car is only valid for car) without getting claims for accident or within the threshold set by the insurer. its not about how long is ur licence, u know this? in case u dont know.

around 2 years ago, i purchased insurance from them for my X1-R ...

i paid $300.00 for 3rd party fire and theft ... the following year i switched to NTUC and paid $380.00 ...

NO. unless stated so in the black n white.

So far haven heard of such thing.

After u bought the bike, whether under installment or not, you can service ur bike anywhere. Insurance and road tax can be renewed at the insurance service centre.

Anyway all of any situation depends on insurance companies. Different companies may give different quotes. To check here is like getting answer nor here or there.

 

Best to check with the various insurance companies themselves. Its free anyway not need to pay to get a quotation. They have your records so should be able to quote you accordingly. Ohh ya different bikes will get different quotations. Not all bikes are the same. Some models are more prone to accident or theft cases so the premium is higher.

sorry to interrupt this thread.. will n ex-revoker aged 27 n has just got back his license get quoted more for his insurance? previously b4 he was revoked,he got 6 years of experience. thanx bros...

 

Should be qouted as a new rider since the old insurance is no longer valid..

Your new license will not show your past experience so insurance company also don't know you have had past experience..

no... just that u start back at zero....the six years experience before revoke not counted...
