ermm .. can't seems to find the review on this cam. U gotta try out it's shutter lag, focussing speed and picture quality. It is a pro-consumer cam.

if u r looking at this category of cams, maybe can consider a Nikon 8700? if got more budget then go for Nikon 8800 :lovestruck:

shuttle lag 0.02 secs....

seemed among the better ones compared with canon powershot S1, olympus c770 & panasonic fz3gc in terms of features

try shooting at moving object at manual setting of 1/60s, f5.6, see got any blur image.

if no blur image, then it is fast enuf. btw, 0.02s is super fast liao, almost as fast as D70 startup. i may be gg to the fair tml morning, not 100% confirm. my schedule tml is bike inspection, renew r/tax + insurance, send photos for printing & IT fair.

guidelines? hehehe.. for general photography please refer to P mode (aka pro mode).

4 still life, there is more than just the setting in the cam.

basically, ppl tends to do more on the lighting setup and Av & Tv.

i shot these images at f/16. varies from ppl to ppl.

panning is more difficult, but best result can be obtained with a cam which has less shutter lag. so, again i stress this is important.
