Just came back from Austria on a biz trip.

Managed to squeeze sometime for photography when was there.

Starting from Villach, we drove to the country side and stopped by a lake.

The lake was on the left, but due to the strong sunlight, cant get a good shot at it.

Then, we headed to Italy, along the valley of the alps.

Stopped at the border to have some coffee.

That hut was once a check point bordering Austria - Italy, has been abandoned when EU was formed.

You can observed the alps in the background, covered with snow.

Next, we headed to Slovenia.

IMO, Slovenia is nice, beautiful and scenic.

Finally, after hours of driving (my colleague of course), we decided to head back to Klagenfurt Airport, Austria for my flight.

At the border Slovenia-Austria, we can see the alps are covered with snow. In 2 weeks time, it will be snowing heavily.

this one was taken from my hotel room, with the alps behind lining in the background.

one of the alps was covered with snow with layers of fogs and clouds above it.

Just messing around with my photos.

I thought the contrast in road surfaces, and the rusty old truck is a good backdrop for the bike.

Perhaps you should have shift the bike forward coz the jeep at the left hand corner is kinda distracting.

Cheers

Well, that was the point where the tarmac ended and the gravel road started, so I don't think there was much of choice.
