See where is it held this year, if padang we need to trek up shears bridge, if National stadium, we need to go to this small jetty along nicoll highway ( very near where it collaspe)

 

U will need a camera , stand and a wired release shutter.

 

Staking out the right spot, i think is also part of the fun of photography

 

I will be going with a friend or 2.....

and i think it will be a good chance to let this photography club have its beginnings

Wat U guys think??

hi guys, juz wan 2 knoe ur views which of these is better? nikon d70 or nikon d100?? cause d70 seems 2 be so much cheaper than d100 yet losin out onli in few functions. btw i got a nikon f90x with databack and a magnifying lens with 2 times magnifying rate for sale. anyone interested can pm me

besides camera , stand and wired release shutter... have a black card around as well... handy for those multiple exposure fireworks

You could take some "insiders" pictures which might be even more exciting? That is if you can get your hands on the camera....

excited abt national day... goes to show how "exciting" life is in singapore. haha.

 

tanjong rhu nice spot but super duper crowded... lots of family gather there machiam like picnic and watch fireworks.

 

even if i get tickets dun think i wanna go and watch... imagine the KS singaporeans, u will need to be there like 1pm to get a proper seat!

I shoot too. Skill not good though. Had my Canon system few years back when I joined SAFRA photo club. Buzz me when you guys go shooting. Just don't mind an old guy tail behind.

NDP shoot need not be at the stadium waiting in the hot sun. Move around at the carpark or entrance and you get better netural poses of excited faces; what the paticipants have to say is more real than those stern looking faces in the stadium ground.

D70 is better than D100 in many ways .. namely the

however .. d70 can't fit battery pack and doesn't feel solid enough. it's good enough as a backup ...

90X no value liao lah, mine also sitting duck nw.

 

D70 izz 1888 w/o lens & 2228 w/ a zoom lens 20-70mm digital format ??

went to pc show, something like tat lah.......................think so lah..

 

35mm lenses can use lah, but not so compatible, wide angle will be narrowed.

think so too............................

dun noe izzit resize anot lah, but was told to use high shutter speed when dealing w/ animals, even w/ flash. cos they are constantly moving, and ur pics will blurred accordingly.

u can actually ask some camera shop to sell for u then they earn a bit of commision....
