Congrats bro,

Run in the fellow first, get use to the handling than go up north and "full bore"...if not enough than go here: http://www.hayabusa.org/forum/index.php

The feeling of a busa compared to a CBR1000 is very different during full bore application...

First of all get rid of the stock exhaust system.. U will save alot of weight and get a full system the torque and response of teh bike will make you feel u are riding a totally different bike.

 

still dont satisfy you then you can do the following.

Add high lift cams

Add high compression gasket

add high compression piston

 

still not satisfied

add big bore kit

 

still not satisfied

supercharger or turbo kits

 

if still not satisfied

i suggest you change to a rocket... LOL

Hi Manbusa, since you change your forks and brakes, is there any difference? The oem busa front fender couldn't fit on the fork is it? Interested to know....

The difference are leaps and bounds... the original 6-pots caliper is just not as good as the radial calipers. OEM calipers are difficult to bleed also... There are a lot of guys who has change it BTW... :)

 

The front fender u can use it but need to mod a little bit (brackets) ,for my case I use the K7 1000 fender. It's a straight bolt on. Now i m looking for the Gen2 fender.(Also a straight bolt-on)

Not for me.I strongly advise upgrade your braking system.It may save your life.

Gixxer front fenders are more for looks but it doesnt work as well as the stock fender for touring.

 

FYI you can even change the whole of your rear subframe to an 07 gixxer with everything included.

 

Ready in stock and its a bolt on no modifications needed

ride was good.....

unexpected jam at Tuas because alot of riders

going up to Thailand

Eventually total of 4 Busas, 1 14, 1 BB and 1 Gixxer..

ate lots and lots of chicken.. talk and laff at lots and lots of cock

Oogled lots at Mercenary's bike

then ride home like nice law abiding citizens upholding the good name of Singaporeans

So nice to go kulai again :)

Next time I ride abit faster than 90kmh... Promise :)
