No. But who cares.

Just make sure you have 2 mirrors, signal lights, chain guard, etc all in place. No need to attract more attention towards yourself. Works for me most times.

i don't think so. as long as it is on the road, it should be road legal, right? if you take note, most off road tyres has the wording there, "Not for highway use." many others like me take chances.

i was once stopped by Expressway patrol on the way to malaysia, geared up and carrying a huge bag of barang barang. he didn't comment on my tyres, only comment on my missing mirror. which i honestly broke it. he just check to ensure that the vehicle has road tax and insurance. i was let off with a warning for the mirrors.

i think if ROV stopped me, i think it will be a very different story. Guess i won't be let off so easily. i can't remember correctly, the fine for unsuitable tyres is $30 or $70.

unless you have vehicle to bring your bike across, that's another story.

agree.

since bike is on the move, as the tyre spins, it is not obvious whether it is knobbies or road tyre.

what are obvious are what ulysses_sc mentioned.
