Rattling noise at high RPM at gear 3 & above

Hello !!

 

i'm having a alittle bit of problem with my bike and hope all the bros out there can help me.

 

Recently i'm hearing a rattling noise coming from the bike at gears 3 and above. This noise is audible when the RPM is about 4.5 and above. And gets louder at higher gear and higher RPM.

 

I've checked the chain, cleaned and re-lubed it. And i've checked the rear sprocket and it isnt worn out. So i'm not sure what other problem it might be. Can anyone help me with this??

 

by the way, my bike is a vara 125.

hmm.. chain guard too loose? or chain guard rubbing against ur chain? or maybe ur gear 3 and above inside de gear box chip off liao?? if still have doubt bring to bike shop let them test ur bike. cus tt time when i first purchase my bike (krr150), my 6th gear oso have some strange noise. den went to bike shop, de boss said de gear sth wrong den nd to do overhaul. den aft i overhaul den de sound no more le.

sharing my experience...

 

there was once my s4 having the rattling noise oso, after i change my EO... went back to the shop, they check for me and turns out to be the belly pan is not tightened enough.. the problem goes away after everythin is tightened...

 

so u might wan to do a simple check tat does not require $$ 1st..
