Selling of bike under hire purchase? Please assist, thank you

Hi all, got some qns to ask.

 

Have a FN rvf, coe till 2018. Its still under loan from albert

 

Still got 24 months of installments, 193$ per month = $4632 (Intend to pay few more months to make it lower to sell at maybe around 4k, a loss but no choice since there may be some problems with engine, its to make up for it and i understand there is early settlement fee)

 

Now bike has some problems, perhaps engine? When start engine there's this tak tak tak tak sound, and when rev a little there's this grr/trr sound.

 

And also a bit sick of riding already, lost the passion somehow.

 

Any idea how i can go about to sell it?

 

I know cant push bike back just like this, they wont take in. I also know they dont allow to transfer ownship even if there are new buyers and they wish to COI.

 

Any idea which motorshop eats in bike just that or any bros can offer really some solid advice?

hi, go to any reliable workshop for a check..n u might noe wat to do next.

if not choice, then ask ur albert motor.

 

see whether they allow COI or transfer ownership...

Contractually you cannot change ownership while the bike is still on HP. However in practice, they are ways of circumventing it but they are all illegal.

If it's the clicking sound when pressing the electric starter, that's the sound of the relay. Usually this is due to a weak battery.

In that case, it could probably be the tappet clearance.

 

When was the last time you check your valves clearance ?
