Advice on Fine of modified exhaust by LTA on behalf of NEA

I need some help/advice on what to do.

I was never stopped by TP or NEA personnels. I only receive letters from LTA and NEA to go for inspection.

I went as requested and pass the inspection.

A month after the inspection, I receive the fine despite passing the inspection.

It's just like you don't need to be stopped on the road by a law enforcement officer to be summoned for a traffic offence.

 

LTA enforcement officers are known to roam the MSCP, and if they suspect any irregularities, they will send you an inspection notice. If the irregularities are confirmed during inspection, then you will be fined.

To might need to clarify with the officer.

Bring along the letter they send to u & bike inspection certificate.

I have my fair share of summons to know that on it will state exactly for what you have been fined.

So you are saying the only appeal i can make it reduce the fine?

appeal will do write in or print a copy of the inspection report & clip it together with your appeal. word of caution, when in LTA doing appeal in person, they normally black faced cos too many people appealing also. But if your conscience is clear do the appeal. I do it via their website somebody will reply albeit late since i never give them the satisfaction of wasting my time.
