Motorbike trade in price

I have been trying to trade in my friend's bike as he is overseas, its an RXZ, I went to a few bike shop & almost immediately the guys there can tel me the trade in price.

 

Jus wondering, how did these few bike shops manage to get the trade in price of my bike so close to each other.

 

Any bros out there know why? Is it a trade secret or how did they get the info?

bro be careful of what you want and what you say.

 

trade in = sell your rxz to the shop and buy another bike from them

 

sell = plain sell no other business with the bike shop

 

generally for trade in they offer you a little better for your rxz not much though maybe 50 - 100 more then your SELLING price. then VERY likely they charge you slightly more on the bike you fancy from their shop or maybe addin a few more admin charges here and there for newbies

 

well they have a shop and mechanic and salesperson and bosses to feed so i can understand why sometimes cut throat practices happen

 

1 little trick to help, go down shop look for a rxz age and condition similiar to yours and ask them how much they sell.

take card, go away.

Remember dun look at other bike cos they will brain wash you and sweet talk you.

call them few hours or few days later say you got rxz to sell how much they offer. sure they ask you bring down let them see and brainwash you, but insist on an estimate take in price from them and you know how much they make.
