Hi Rider,

I recently had an accident with a Malaysian vehicle. Does anyone have any experience on this before? If have, i would like to know

1)I believe claim will take some time but roughly how long?

2)My bike workshop law firm claim that they will engage a Malaysian law firm cause the claim is against Malaysian insurance company.. is this true?

3)Does a workshop accident surveyor normally come up with a report of what items on the bike are damage?

Please provide me with any information.. Still in need of bike repair cause workshop boss doesnt seems want to commit in further bike repair cause my case is Malaysian case.. Kanasai!!

You should double/triple confirm with your workshop and their lawyer because insurers of Malaysian vehicles involved in accidents in Singapore cannot be forced to pay up.

So if the Malaysian insurance company is willing to pay then good for you. If they are not, LL.

Hope everything will be okay. Good luck!

There was a thread regarding claiming against msian bike recently. Its link with some msian rider came SG to work depatch. Most likely it will take YEARS to claim if i'm not wrong.

If not the dmg is okay, just take it as you're doing some kind deed. However, hope you still can claim back your losses! (:

Bro Keiff--> Bike workshop already said can claim but it all depends on the party insurance company.. But then the law firm given by the workshop said that they will have to hand my case over to a malaysia law firm to handle my case.. but not before sending the Letter of Demand to the malaysian insurance company..

Try ask the boss at Speedy, AMK Autopoint for advice - at least I find that he's someone that is honest with me.
