Lost of use on motorcycle claim

Does anyone know are motorcyclist entitled to claim for the lost of use on daily basis.Our insurance policy behind under the Practice Note stated that if we are not at fault ,they will waive the policy excess and offer a transport allowance of $50 per day for the period that your vehicle is in the workshop for repairs. Cuz my bike is now in the workshop and left me with no transport.

 

I rang the insurance company up and they told me it does not apply to motorcycle. I was wondering if is not applicable to motorcycle,it should have include this phrase in the practice note.But they didn't.

 

Can anyone enlighten me? Moreover,i'm cleary not at fault.

If I am not wrong, you can engage a lawyer to process the claims for you.. Every single little petty thing is claimable. Like Emotional stress, bodily Hurt, injuries, Transport claim should not be a problem...

 

My friend (riding RD125) was hit by a car yes back, engaged lawyer, claim a few K...

 

You cannot claim from Insurance company as it is not covered Unless car they did state the condition in the policy. So engage Lawyerto sue the other party. Lawyer will try their best to claim MAX. Which explains why our damn insurance is freaking high...

Thanks for the info....anyway the motortiam's lawyer had followed up with my case....but if i engage own lawyer still have to fork out own $$$,isn't it?

It's not the shop's lawyer. It's your lawyer. Talk to him.
