HJC FS-15 series Fullface and IS-33 Openface

Hi Guys, I am considering to bring in the HJC new range of FS-15 FF series and IS-33 Openface. MOTOWORLD only have CLST & limited FG series. The old series of HJC helmets are cheap coz of the not that attractive designs and low end quality. But this FS-15 series technology and quality is no inferior to Arai and Shoei and have been worn by professional Superbikes riders but yet $200-300 cheaper then Arai and Shoei.

 

Designs that I interested to bring in:-

 

FS-15 Fullface Carbon,Trophy, Surge, Prism

FS-15 Fullface Air Snarl (air pump cheekpad)

IS-33 Open face with Sun shade

 

I would like to gather feedbacks to see if it is worth to bring in these helmets. If feedback is positive, I will start a CMO in the forum.

Price wise is not fixed yet, as I have to see the respond and negotiate further with the USA distributor. But as general guide, price range will be as below:-

 

Fullface:

FS-15 Trophy series - $380-$420

FS-15 Air Snarl - $400-$450

FS-15 Carbon series - $700-$750 (Arai now also come out with Carbon series but will cost thousand)

FS-15 Prism & Surge - $200-$250 (MOTORWORLD having GSS promo now the model is called FG-15 Prism & Etau at $180 but color is very much different not as striking and fierce..to me atleast..)

 

Openface:

IS-33 series - $220-$250

 

 

Above price is only a guide line, it could be cheaper depending on the quantity I can get from the respond here.

Whatever it is, FS-15 (Carbon) should never be more expensive than $500. I bought mine from ebay and it is authentic.

From what I see in ebay, mostly is selling S$550 excluding shipping cost. The piece you had probably at S$400+ and not able to exchange if sizes dosen't suits you (correct me if I am wrong, no offence). And I have stated the price is only guideline not official and could be much cheaper.

 

I will only start the CMO if feedbacks are positive to start on with it. Otherwises, ix a call-off. I will just order for myself and my parthner...

IS-33 is about $200-250.

 

Just to add-on, the helmets might or might not be PSB approved as I am still checking for the cost of doing it. Will update on this issue soon.

Hi guys, look like ix not quite possible for me to send these helmets for PSB approval as it cost too much to do so.

 

But will still consider to bring it in at smaller qty if there are interested party. Anyway, I will get a pair of the Trophy & openface for myself. Simply loves the design

Via air or ocean??

you'll be killed on the m3 used to calculate the air freight.

if ocean more often then not, minimum wait is 6-8 weeks after payment in full.

no offence dude but yr carbon series price range of 700-750 is way too low

to make it worthwhile, don't forget about the import part meaning gst is still payable.

you should nego the helmet prices & FREE in-land shipping! In-land freight will also

"kill you without blinking" i have a forwarder based in houston, if they give you FREE in-land let me know i'll ship them in for you guys at cost (transparency) helping out bikers.

Of cos gst will still be an issue since the shipping invoice will be in UDS!

PSB you will most likely pay premium to test the different models / batches etc.

your best bet would be to get a minimum of 500 helmets via mo, stuff them all into a

20' container & have them shipped to sgp.

scatter silica gel liberally to keep moisture & humidity out of the helmets.

you will be glad you did it =)

 

PS : surf all the USA bike sites & lookout for closeouts and/or clearance sales. helmets go for 1/2 price even after factoring in shipping & duties to sgp
