Honda SP Sound

Hi guys, I am currently riding a Honda SP bike. I just finished Running in after overhauled. My bike sounds normal. But i seen couple of SP bikes sound SUPER loud. Like High pitch wans. And i am thinking to make my bike sound like that. Wat am i suppose to do? Can anywan advice me of How, Where and the price of doing that kind of sound? If after doing it, Will it damage my bike in anyway or later on got any problems? Plus wats the benefit of doing it? Some of my friends say go cut stomach or tong. I have no idea wat is that please explain. pls explain in full wat am i suppose to do to make my bike sound loud and high pitch. I am kinda intrested as i am a newbie here. Than during inspection can pass? If cannot than how to pass? Thank you.

cut stomach and tong pipe mean remove the restrictor inside

 

as i know cut stomach still can pass inspection , tong pipe confirm fail

if u tong pipe then when going inspection either swap back ur pipe or send to bike shop with little money they will make it sure pass for u

 

up to u decide whether wan do it or not, for me i dun find it worth to do

when u change class 2a $700 top up abit can let u get 2nd full system exhaust

i rather u spend the money somewhere else then donate to others

 

and at night high pitch and loud exhaust is very notifing and irritating -.- that what i feel la

Ouhhh Now i understand liao. So the main thing to make the sound is to TONG pipe la? Shall i go do at JB at ah gua lane or do in singapore? Means just go tell them i wana TONG my pipe they understand rite? How much do u think will it cost? Well wat u said is true also la that top up $700 can get a 2a bike all. used a tong-ed end can for my SP until recently... sound if very loud and high pitched but not to my liking...

 

open stomach (as mrice has explained) means removing the restrictors inside your pipe to improve airflow through the system... this supposedly increases horse power though it can be debated....

 

tong end can means holes are drilled into the silencer (a metal rod inside your end can)... the number and location of the holes you drill will affect the sound of your pipe...

 

not sure if my description is correct so any SP lao jiaos feel free to correct me.... just sharing what i know....

Why do things to irritate your neighbors? Does the high pitch sound improve on the horse power or even anything to improve your bike? If no, just let it be.

 

Sorry to sound so disapproving. I am a mother and I hate it when bikers with loud pipes blast by and give my sleeping baby a bad scare. Its not only your immediate neighbors that you irritate but also the people who live in the blocks near to you.

if wanna TONG stomach or PIPE . i think u go AH GUA LANE . KOK PING RACING/ XIN HOCK racing.. i think they do a very good job. Inmyopinion

just tong the stomach will do.. the bike will be more responsive..

yea just cut the stomach pipe leave it as it is maybe u wan decarbon both pipe and stomach but after awhile the carbon will be back

Alrite Thanks alot bros...But let say i go tong my pipe all than when during inspection must go mech ask them go change back to stock all kinda hard. But wat if i go buy a spare Tong end can pipe than during inspection i bring along my stock pipe to the mech and ask them go change. Is it good this way? cause if i not wrong once u tong the pipe u cant change back to stock am i rite? Like this i rather buy a spare Tong end can pipe go fix.

if owner happy n wants modded pipe, let him do as he wants lah.. nothing to do wif ur own opinion bah.. imo modded pipe improves the bike, n wif properly tuned carb, wouldnt be lean in the top end ah
