Finding a malay couple whom witness accident at tampinse near esso at abt 1.30am

Please advice

 

At about 1.30am i was travaling back home on my honda sp150 FS 6036 L down loyang road to tampinse home. When a taxi infront of me jam his break and turn to the bus stop with the butt of his taxi sticking out to the lane i was riding at just to pick up a customer who ran out just to flag the taix. i jam my breaks but could not stop in time and fell off my bike. My bike also fell on to my gf leg as she was the pillon leaving her burn marks from my pipe and cuts on her keen. I really need help from the malay couple who i think was riding a sparks or a wave to help me witness the incendent on 07-07-10 at about 1.30am. Please contact me asap.

i suggest you report the matter to the police and take ur gf to hospital for a check up. this will make it easier if u are going to claim damages and injuries claim if u manage to catch the culprit.

Police report all done and injury report form the hospital also done. But now the problem is i did not take the number of the malay couple who help me witness the accident as its my first time.

But after this accident, hope you understand we rider always in the losing end.

So do look out for other f"up vehicle to prevent sh!t happening although it is not our fault. Cause alot of new rider always think they got the right of way and forget about those ass who make mistake and cost dmg to us.

the taxi cut in ur lane then jam brake or u were at the back of the taxi all the while then the taxi jam brake?

 

so u bang the taxi n fell or u fell on ur own witout hitting the taxi?

 

so u want to claim the taxi?

 

so guys in this scenario can we claim the taxi if we fell on our own witout hitting the taxi?

Seriously, i doubt you can claim anything against him cause this is a 50-50 case.

wah bro, like tat i dont noe.... u really2 need witness already... wat i can advise u is keep a safe distance... look far....always ride more on the left or right rather than centre of the lane so if anything happen last min u can swerve but dun forget ur blindspot.... and lastly learn and be aware on how singaporean drivers drive....

Hmm..ok guys i kept a safe distance. sorry i think i did not say clearly. This taxi driver jam his break and just turn in to the bus stop leaving his taxi on the center of my lane and some where in the entrance of the bus stop. so his taxi was in my lane. I could not go to the other lane as there was another bike (which was my withness) leaving me to hit the taxi.

 

I just did a draft picture of wat happen that day.

If im not wrong this kind of case can be classified as reckless driving or driving without care for others...and MAYBE u can claim if the authorities look at it this way

in this case, if the taxi is at the witness lane from the start, than you stand a great chance!

 

But still, ride safe. Experience really counts ^^

I believe some uncles will jam the brake and swing into other lane when the other bike went ahead or throttle to siam.

 

Soon you will master the Ph.D in siam-ing. That's really a must in singapore road.

hmm.. quite hard to get claim... first thing is if u ain't following too close u shldn haf hit the taxi.. most probably u ll get claimed instead... got a fren kena tis b4... somemore is at zebra crossing, the taxi stop in the middle of the crossin to fetch customers and somemore its a 1 lane road... whereby there is curbs beside the 1 lane, which means if the taxi stop u ll sure hit if ur followin closely... and my fren got claimed by the taxi instead...

 

 

so moral of the story is... dun follow these taxi drivers so closely... they r the "king" of the roads... lorrys... vans... trucks... buses... and last but least taxis... u cant follow them closely... and also, some subarus or evos on the exp way... they r crazy buggers on the roads when they wanna overtake and drive fast.... they ll juz swing out and go...and if u get hit by them on the expway... *touchwood* u wun haf the chance to even post a thread here....

to me it seem that its carelessness bro. u shoould have kept a safe distance from a vehicle in front. in this case the cab. the fact that u jam brake ur bike means ur shock and cant react properly. luckily u didnt hit the cab if nt the more money is involve other than ur doctor fee and repairing of bike. Take this as a lessson. neva follow behind a cab. u just passed ur bike? ride safely bro and take it as a learning experience to avoid the same situation.

i think this situation a bit difficult, at most i think TP will summon both for negligence, end up both pay fine and points and claim own insurance.....rider will get booked for not maintaining safe distance, driver maybe get negligence....

Thanks bros i today just went to the tp to visit the IO i just explain everything to her see wat they will do. I am really not too sure coz its my first time. But i still need my eye witness i know the % of finding the eye witness is hard. Haizz
