Hi guys , just to check something on Demerit point system .

 

Let's say i hve Class 2B & 2A for 10 yrs and just pass my class 3 , Is my Demerit point for all classes 12 points ?

Every few months, someone will ask this question. People will have all kinds of opinions. If I wanted to know, I'd read what the TP has to say:

 

Q: If I get 13 or more demerit points while under probation and I have both Class 3A and Class 3 licences, which licence would be revoked?

 

A: Only the licence that is still under probation will be revoked. Therefore, if only your Class 3 licence is under probation while your Class 3A has passed its probation period, only your Class 3 licence will be revoked. If both your Class 3A and Class 3 licences are under probation, both will be revoked at the same time.

yea as stated by contrarian, the DIPS system goes like tis...

 

for eg ur case, claz 2b and 2a has got 24 demerit pts...

 

but ur claz 3 got onli 12 demerit pts...

 

if you got 13 pts... onli ur claz 3 will get suspended... meanin u cant drive a car but can ride a bike.... unless u got 24 pts and above den u ll get all licenses suspended....

 

tt means all ur licenses run on the same system but havin different pts... but when u get any traffic offences and got demerit pts deducted, all licenses will be deducted is juz a matter of how much pts ur particular licenses can b deducted tts all..

Exceeding 12 points will revoke a under-probation class2 licence only or with 2a/2b as well?
