Anything can be done but keep in mind the S4's stock headlight is 55W. SP may not have enough 'generator' capacity to support it, leading to the battery discharging itself while riding.

More 'generator' load also means reduced fuel economy....

Same rule applies - check electrical loading first.

Voltmeter would be a good investment. Multimeter for stationary diagnostics.

than is apple and orange same?haha:angel:

current SP headlight bulbs are HS-H6M 12v-35/35w

cbr 400rr is using halogen H4 12v-60/55w(correct me if im wrong)

pls rewire your wiring to a thicker gauge and replace the fuse.using a relay will do a better job as the headlight will drawn power from the battery

Both fruits mah :D

Tony is spot on - like any mods, you gotta be confident of the "stuff" intended to be messed with.

Voltmeter draws current? It's just a readout so should be minimal, compared to monster headlight on small bike. Which, I dare not do.

Anyway... you may need H4 conversion kit according to abovementioned specs. Last time I checked, this kit was quite expensive at Motoworld.

hmmm if i were to change cbr 400 headlight bulbs to something slightly dimmer would it be less troublesome ??

cbr 400 headlight bulbs are much more brighter than sp as is a H4 common use in bikes and cars.

H4 if you want low watt, you can get the H4 LED.

1.not bright

2.dangerous as ppl cannot see you.

why not use TZM faring.is nice.and TZM is using H4 bulbs.

you cannot mod the sp headlight bulbs holder to fit a H4.even can after some nice modify,it will melt the holder as the temp is too hot.

voltmeter would suck quite alot battery ???

NO.is just a measuring device.

rambutan and durain leh?hahahahaha

FYI,you do not need a H4 conversion kit.just use the 2xrelay will do.

1 for highbeam

1 for lowbeam

have a on/off switch will prevent the bulbs from blowing....

i would say,if you are using h4

use 1 side as low beam, the other side as highbeam as its not drawing too many current.
