Enrolment Requirements and Documents (2B)

 

Requirements:

• 18 years old and above (based on date of birth)
  
• Physically and mentally fit
  
• Able to read at a distance of 25 metres & does not suffer from colour blindness (Single and Double Sight)
  
• Must not accumulate more than 12 demerit points under Driver Improvement Points System (DIPs)
  
• Must not have any class(es) of Qualified Driving Licence / Provisional Driving Licence under revocation, disqualification or suspension

 

Documents:

• Identity Card or valid Passport
  
• Glasses/Lenses must be put on for eye-sight examination if needed
  
• 1 recent colour passport size photograph
  
• Additional Documents for Foreigners: valid work-permit, student pass, employment pass, dependant's pass or PR pass

Class 2B learner here. Clear up to Lesson 3 only.

 

Recent riding weather is not very good with rain and drizzle. Did figure 8 while raining and it wasn't pretty, instructor gave chance to us that day.

 

I have gotten the knee and elbow pads. Durian gloves I guess is good enough, just buy another when the old one is worn.

 

Any recommendations on a learner's helmet? Advice from some is this can be your spare or pillion helmet in future.

just get a normal psb approved helmet...

during tp.. need to wear open face psb approved helmet.

some cheap cheap $18 can get already.

I hope everyone can find their way back here and don't get lost. But it is a pretty sad thing that we cannot be that close to the big bros taking Class 2A/2 because they have split us up.

just wanna ask,during TP test, did they check on our helmets for PSB/inspection tested labeled sticker for approval before going for the test?coz my sticker in inside/internal part of the helmet and not visible by looking at the helmet......

i think by looking at the helmet they should know whether it is approved or not as they have years of experience in it. even if they ask, say that the sticker is inside.

okay thx..and btw,if i wanna make 1 more PDL(not renew),must I just go to the TP counter at CDC ?Then what must I ask?The reason is bcoz my recent PDL was laminated and im afraid if it is not approve for TP test..

prac 2 is mainly on positioning urself correctly & checking blindspots correctly.

Its not abt how well u ride...its how safe u ride to pass (& to live)! Thats what they told me..

i think very few pass prac 2 on first attempt. sure forget to check here or there.

feels frustrating and confusing at first but it all becomes second nature as you move on to future lessons.

just try to look confident and KNOW where you going before you begin.
