Does anyone knows when to replace your brake disc?

I was just wondering cause i went to service my bike and my mechanic suggest that i change my rear brake disc cause its quite damage

Check near the inner circumference surface of the disc where the lining meets, if its severely worn off it will be uneven

That gonna be expensive, recently I just change my OEM rear 240mm brake disc with pad @ 208SGD. Plenty of other aftermarket brake disc as well, NewFren, Galfer and Braking (*more to be name)

Manufacturer of my bike state that its limit is 4mm, so long yours still within tolerance should be fine (like xgstx mentioned, glide your finger starting from inner circumference and run across the disc till edge. You can feel how bad is the wear, best still get a micrometer to check.) Check for warp as well...

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine

How much is ur brake disc? depend what bike r u riding.
