Hi Guys i'm having Problems wif the Lawyer that my Mech recomend me. So i juz need a confirmation that i didn't gt conned.

 

After the Claim iz settle & all. As in both parties agreed. This iz what the Lawyer send me in a Letter in which i need 2 Sign & Return.

 

Claim:

Damages: ?

Party & Party Costs: ?

GST on Costs: ?

Disbursements: ?

Total: ??? [As reflected in Discharge Voucher]

 

Less:

Costs of Repair paid to my BikeShop

Survey Fee

Solicitor & Client's Legal Costs

Party & Party's Legal Costs

GST on Costs

Disbursements

"ShortFall" [which will be deducted fr my Damages Claim]

 

I'm wondering since all the Legal Costs has already been deducted fr my claim, what actually in the Meaning of "Disbursements" ??? Do they need 2 less in as well? Shouldn't that claim be mine? Kinda confused here. Those damn Lawyers couldn't care less 2 explain anyting 2 Me.

disbursements are the charges paid for the matters like photocopies, postage, cost of obtaining reports from the agencies...
