its ignition advancer. not ignition module. its 2 diff things n the cost is too.

both ignition advancer or module wont affect u adding pc5.

 

care to explain the purpose/ working principle of the 2?

520 conversion is more for track use. it'll wear down faster n u're jus saving abit of weight.if u r riding everyday, i dun recommend u to change. stocks can last u quite sometime. if u r jus willing to spend around 200 per item, i think its quite limited to the stuff u can mod,biking is an expensive hobby.since u already remove ur cat, get a pc as ur bike could be running lean

 

i think it will be too rich than lean, cos my k9 gets very rich with stock air filter after i switch cat to y pipe.

 

Reason being, exhaust tends to escape out of engine easier than before, but fresh air still remain same intake speed cos stock filter. Causing too little fresh air when u throttle. the acceleration of bike feels sluggish compared to full stock. engine tends to be smoother cos no more vibration, a very lean engine vibrates violently when throttling.

correct me if i'm wrong,

 

advancer is for better spark plug firing efficiency whereas TRE is for the elimination of the timing retard of the lower gears.

Jus push my bike from arab st to dunlop st...Tried to charge batt from my fren's bike...but its not holding the charge....So assume its coil.

after doing some research seems like ignition advancer only help certain range of rpm like mid rpm, n it will lose some power at the low rpm. anyone to verify this? maybe those who had it on their bike give some feedbacks.

 

With a 1000cc, i would rather have a strong low rpm than a strong hi rpm, cos most of the time i wont exceed 10krpm.

Thanks bro...jus changed burnt coil and gasket. Hum I should change the rectifier position. Since ur mech already did it then he should have experience innit. SO who can i look for at i motoring...even though i hate the sales there P.M me the price and contact maybe can meet up... I need pro advice for my bike.

if u wan strong low end, jus change ur spocket size will do the trick, cheap n good
