yup, that's true what bro mc28 said, u gotta ask urself what u really want. it is impt. no point go for sumthing by pricing. of cos financial n pricing plays a part. but if u are willing to spend 25~30k on a bike, i advise u just go ahead with a bike u like. doesnt matter if it's the looks, the sound, etc. at the end of the day, u must be happy with ur ride.

Actually other than the fact that i all along wanted to own a 750(When i just got my class 2 but had to settle for K4 600), the reason why i nv chose the 2007 CBR600(After deciding to change bike) to the K7 750 is becos of the signal lights(dont have to bother about flush signals, diamond signals etc etc) :D

first and foremost, i would like to thank you guys for your views. Of course I am not solely choosing from R1, CBR, Fazer and GSXR based on their prices but it will be one of my factors. I will also look at its appearance and specs too. Only then I will be able to make an informed choice rather than jump into it. I do appreciate your comments :) thanks!

Appearance once, i would rank.

1. R1

2. GSXR1000

3. CBR1000

R1 with the sharper front crowl, GSXR for the all round even curves, CBR for the flat nose(That's why it's last)..

Spec wise, i would actually chose a 09 R1 for it's crossplane technology which i'm quite keen to try out(Minus the fugly exhaust of course).

Buden end of the day, u gonna decide on which of the 3 sportsbikes appeals to you more cos u r gonna look at it for the next few years down the road.

For me when i purchase something like motorcycles, first i will see the outlook and whether it makes me wet everytime i look @ it, next to consider would be how comfortable i'm sitting on the bike and 3rdly, the price..

Just MHO..

izzit true that the proper of "shutting" down the engine is turn off the emergency switch until u see the CHECK work on the dash board?? and starting engine must on emergency switch and until u see the blinking red key light gone then can start?? is this a correct method of start and off engine?? or do u guys just switch on and off on the ignition??

Am thinking the low mileage could be due to some tuning needed. Bike is stock with no pc3 whatsoever. So can u guys recommend any shop to carry out simple tuning without much fuss?

i think if u raise ur avg speed on highway to 140 then ur fc will be better.

LOLZ joking only!

but 175 is really quite a big difference from wat we're getting.

there's no hard and fast rule bro...for me i just have that habit of stopping and kill switch off the engine. ppl who just off the ignition also i think dun face problems. but kill switch is better i feel, cos when u kill the engine, u can hear the throttle body valve reset itself. same when u turn on ur bike, be it ignition key or kill switch, u can hear the valve reset itself. if ur throttle valve actuator etc have problem u might be able to sense it earlier. but anyway, no hard n fast rule.
