is it the fella who is selling the titanium akra at 2k? i saw sumone selling it at 2k. anyway, akra u can get it at any shop now for about 1.8k. some shop bundle it with ypipe. arrow now i dunno how much but last time around the same price as akra but less 100~200 bucks. if u going to buy new pipes, and choosing between arrow and akra, and if u prefer to get akra, then just go buy akra. one is that u wont regret u didnt buy akra, second is the price more or less about the same.

 

not that guy... some others.. mine is full carbon akra.... maybe 1 of this i be dropping by HKLY to cheap their pricing for akra... lol... Arrow sounds nice but i noticed that their pricing aint stable.. sometimes low or high... like pending to buy at biketech21.. lol....thanks for the info bro..

no prob man. anyway craftsmanship...akra is way better. anyway, since u getting akra...compare price at hkl and also drop by works performances at arumugam rd, they're the agent. see which price better, grab it.

Nice bike with the yoshi.. too bad i wanted to get K9 1000 but price really very bad... not much K9 spotted also..

bros....got any recommendation for pipes with relatively good sound,performance and of course street legal for k5 600..?

 

IMO,none, street legal bolt on for k5 600 r still fat,long n relatively heavy compare to ur stock,unless u wan full sys

hi guys...i juz got my K9 600 in Jan 2010 ..n have recently compete in SMSA race 1 in PG...its my 1st time racing in a 600cc sportsbike..when i lined up in the grid for qualifying...i noticed that i was the only Gixxer around flooded by a sea of R6s n CBRs...

 

i do hope to see more Gixxers competeting so i have some kakis on the track... : )

 

n reading from the last few postings about mods...

my bikey is running on a Yoshi R55,BMC Race filters,PVC...etc etc

 

wats PVC??????

wah bros ! bike giving me problem man today ! today while riding , FI came on again ! suddenly at gear 4 , the bike LOSS OF POWER ! then normal again , less than 20 sec, LOSS OF POWER AGAIN. all these while FI is blinking . then i stop by roadside. off the engine, wait for a few sec , swtich it on again , and it becomes normal again. i really dun understand what is happening man ! PLS HELP ME BY ENLIGHTING ME THANKS !

 

happen something like this to me once n was the tip-over sensor which i nv place properly, but dun think thats happen to u unless u mess with ur undertray

haha thanks bro , and do our side stand get loose during riding ? was riding in cte yesterday and suddenly the engine just die off, quickly move to the shoulder, start the bike again engage gear and engine die off. i reckon it it my side stand and when i tried to push it up , true enough it got loose. anyway to tighten it up ?

 

nv hear b4. my side stand onli get harder after sometimes n need to lube it. i believe sidestand is jus tighted by bolts n nuts. jus tighted with 2 spanners or torque wrench lor

i think both are not any cheaper than ebay, quote akra y pipe sgd 580 from works performance, in the end i got a brand new ship in from usa and diy myself. Cost me only sgd 400. Soon i shipping in akra slip on to diy too.

think he lookin for street legal. for those not bothered by legality, yes i agree import is cheaper. anyway, k7 ypipe is much cheaper than that. maybe DB can get the legal sys from WP and ypipe from ebay. :thumb: but anyway just check out the price.

yo bro...yes i agree the Gixxer pump is not that effective...but in PG its reasonable (for me at least,maybe i going too slow..kekeke)

but in Sepang,the Gixxer handles well too(again maybe i going slow)

actually i hoping see more of the K5 to K 7 to race(they the hooligans lah)..

i know the K8 n 9s are tuned more for street riding n it makes a good beginner bike for racing ..

n the 600 K9 can be turn into a 136bph monster...(i have the specs with me..kekeke)

 

strangely i was in California last month n out of 10 bikes that passed me..9 were Gixxers n i met strangers who came up to chat with me 'cause i was wearing my Gixxer cap..

Gixxers is still the bike to beat on the track even though it has mellowed down the last couple of years...

 

till another Gixxer decides to compete in SMSA race,i guess i be alone for awhile...lolx!!!!
