Performance wise i cant comment but built wise, aint that nice..But money plays a factor too in the kind of things which u will get..In order to make it available to more ppl, they have to cut off somewhere..

Than i had problem finding a Vmax for you. If you want, i can take a 99R1 to have a friendly test . Machine does make a very big impact on win or lose. But you see rossi is on a much lesser power bike compare to the honda RCV211.But he still can win race. And he is still the no.1 person to beat at motor GP, not nicky hayden.

I wonder if you play track, i been overtaken by so many R6 on PG, but my bike is at least 40more BHP than the R6, how come i still lose. You think it the machine or the rider???

I can do that, but i cant maintian 299km/hr for very long(not even 5 sec). Maybe i should post a video of my bike doing that speed. And i would love to try.

yo WW, i think milan says drag race, factor depends more on the bike on the rear wheel hp (but rider plays a part also in launching the bike).

 

Milan, WW talks about track circuit which depends alot on rider. Rossi is the best example and proof. But bike comes in a little part also.

 

So conclusion .... both have your points

like i say..try putting rossi on a wave. do u think he can beat hayden? right now u r talking abt its only the rider that matters not the bike. but i am telling u.. the bike plays a part as well.. give him any bike ..but if the bike is unreliable and keeps breaking down, do u think rossi can perform? so my point is not abt R6 vs R1 or anyother 600cc vs 1000cc. its that bike plays an important role as well.. so its not only abt the rider..its abt the bike as well

yes i get your point milan u are talking about for R1 riders, our bikes is very special to us. For suzuki riders, their bikes special to them. The same goes to ducati, or honda or kawasaki riders.

 

But what i am saying is that after all its still a bike, a machine on 2 wheels. So there's no need to get offended when someone says that "R1 is a special bike mah" when that someone's heart is on the R1, but ultimately still a bike.

 

well like what i posted on a neutral point of view is that nothing special about the R1 as it could not beat the gixxer on performance, sadly speaking even for the 07 r1, the magazines rating for the 07 is only a 4 star while the 07 gixxer's rating a 5 star.
