I stay at bukit batuk.... Can i see your bike, so that you can give me pointers on what to do with my k4....??

The thing is I had always ridden honda bikes... and this baby gixxer is a bit too raw for my liking.... Well, want to bring it to track, but scared that if i ride it like my hondas, its gonna go off course real soon, due to the extremely responsive throttle...

Can no prob as long as u are not TP or ROV..hehehe

I think that stock, it is not responsive enough. Brought up the sunject to a couple of my friends and mostly agree that u have to cahnge the sprocket, front 1 down, back up 1. Then more responsive. If you want maybe we can make an outing of k4??

actually I've tis qns tat has been bugging me for some time.

how do u guys choose from so many types of exhaust (e.g. yoshi, akra, micron etc...)

do all these different pipes have different performance or only juz the "brand" difference?

what makes u tink tat the pipe tat u buy stand out from the rest? :?

the best is to install all the pipes in the same bike & sent for dyno.

my opinion for usage of street legal exhaust in spore(guys dun be offended jus take wif a pinch of salt ok...so sori)

akra-provides the best deep bassy sound(used in WSBK,AMA,MotoGP)

yoshi-availability of parts,u name it..(WSBK,AMA,MotoGP)

micron-hmm..pricing/mark up a bit too steep in singapore(AMA,BSB)

arrow-value for money-$1600 buys u a full system street legal(WSBK,AMA,BSB)

i'm no expert here, jus givin thoughts though....and i'm not out to give any personal vendetta to any one...

cheers:cheer:

for me i did consider between a akra and a arrow...

heard a arrow full system on a k3 1000 wif the baffle one, sounds too ****** (no offence though)

price wise is good, cheap + removeable baffle

heard a akra on a r1..sounds horny..and lightweight...and of cos the removeable baffle..my good old shop offer me a good price for it and i tot,why not..

for akra, the pipe is actually the same race pipe but wif a baffle inserted to cut down the noise..so when u remove it,it's the same as a track pipe..

akra baffle is hold on by a screw which has a little weld by the side to prevent u from removing it..so if u choose to file off the weld, juz hope rov wont go and look at the screw and discover that the screw has been tamper wif as it's deem as illegal to do so..

His yoshi sounds super fierce, can very clearly hear him come more than 500m away as he did a few fly-bys under the GP bridge. There seems to be a tad of unstable idling issue from excessive leanness with the baffle removed, but goes away when fully warmed up. Too little backpressure also hurts the low end, and the G6 is pretty weak in that dept, so it will hurt your everyday drivability somewhat. He seems pretty happy with the added responsiveness in the higher end, doing his >270 top speed runs on the NSH

It is for the "Audio Visual Effect"

270 is not difficult on a stock bike with a slight downslope.
