Honda CRV Bumper

Hi guys, need your help.

Recently i kissed a Honda CRV which jammed brakes while trying to negotiate a U Turn..

I traded paints with the car with no deep scratches when both parties inspected it.

Agreed to pay for the damages eventhough i feel that the driver make a stupid decision to jam her brake during a u turn.. I still hit from behind so i still at fault.

To my suprise, bill came for the damages = $300.

I find it a little ridiculous.. Any guys would help me on this?

Bro it's not ridiculous... A Taxi hit my rear bumper, total cost for taxi is close to 1.5k....

If a car is less than 3 years old, it's replace parts not repair...

Agree.. I spent on the family car ard S$200++ in jb.. Lolx.. Cheap cheap good good but waited weeks for the same colour to arrive.. It's an average price if u asked me.

Even if there is a dent, and respraying, it should cost below $200. His reverse sensor may have been effected so he could also be claiming for that.

 

I would say that $300 is a fair compensation. Some jerks would have filed a claim for a full bumper replacement, at least $1000, to take advantage of the situation but only carried out a patch job and pocket the difference.
