It has become a habit to check mine at least once a week since my class 2A. Maybe that's 1 of e reason my tyres last an average of 20,000km.

Are the new 800 xc running on tube or tubeless? Really considering one, more affordable than a BMW hahaha. Think it will make a really good all rounder bike too.

It's running on tubes, sadly. e roadie is not a bad choice. e 19/17inch rims gives a better road handling.Spend a few quid on a proper crash protection and panniers/topbox and a better windshield and u'll have a reliable daily workhorse!

Lol its about 3k difference between Xc and non Xc version right?. I'm scared if with the crash bars, boxes and all, it will add up to 3k ++ haha so might well get Xc version right? Spokes seems nicer also. Thinking of taking my ride for short trail ride toos. Hm base case I need better suspension cos I don't want the bike to bounce when riding 2 up. Current my s4 does that, argh

now dat u know about it, u may wish to consider it.

true wad Kazuma said. if an inexperienced mech handles it, consequences could be nasty.

I'm really liking this bike more and more. I'm wondering if let say I need to send this bike for valve interval maint or maybe need to replace OEM parts?will it take a few days to settle because I rely heavily on my bike to commute into jurong island

Posted

I commute daily and also venture up north on this highly reliable bike. When e time comes for servicing,of course u make yourself available and try not to delay.Valve checks are recommended every 24,000km.Most parts are readily available and if a certain part needs to be ordered,it'll take about a week.Hope that helps.Cheers!
