So far any prob with tiger800xc?

 

There used to be an engine stalling issue that affected some Tigers in e 1st year of launch but it has been remedied. So far most owners have ridden it faultless. Like myself. If there's really a problem then it could only be 1...... To discipline your right throttle hand cos this inline triple is orgasmically addictive and gymnastically flexible in all gears and speed. Hi guys ive got a noob qs to ask.

I just got my bike out from mah a week ago. Im only on my 2nd fuel tank and so far, its been really great except for the constant struggle to keep the throttle to within the running in limit. However, ive noticed an irritating knocking sound coming from the exhaust when I close throttle at high speeds. Initially i thought its coming from under the tank but upon close hearing.. it sounded like its coming from the exhaust. Im still on oem exhaust. Is that sound normal?

its normal and the characteristic of hte catalytic converter. ask us in the fb page on how to get rid of it.

Hi tiger bros, i'm an inch away at pulling the trigger on d tiger 800, however i need some consultation on the following:

 

where do you suggest i acquire d machine - MXX or its affiliate hXX?

I'm d kinda guy who prefers servicing the bike where I purchase it from..

so aside from the minimal cost diff, any feedback regarding customer service, mechanic capability etc

also appreciate if you guys can recommend shops that provide accessories from SW motech./H&B

dude, i recommend to buying it from the real deal at MAH. MOst of us are happy with them. go ahead pull ur trigger!

 

the mechanic there knows their stuff and hte charges are reasonable and should not be a cause for worry. i have got bad experience at H*C and sort of condemn them already and is also clear that their standard is smoking thru. my opinion at least with experiences dealing with them.

It will be a better deal when going direct to agent rather then other shops.

Even order from other shop,they also get from Mah then pricing or accessories will be diff.

Mech knows the bike much more better then any1 else as he is being sent to overseas for training.

Servicing wise I can say most of us go back there. Sometime we even meet up there by chance n have coffee too.
