Excellent looking and handling bike you got there... The engine sound more solid compare to TDM...

I still love e sound of a twin though. This Tiger sounds unique due to it's triple engine configuration. Wonder what a Zard will do to it:angel:

After riding for a solid 3 months plus, I finally realised where the cackling sound comes from whenever I close the throttle from high revs. It's courtesy of the catalytic converter mounted close to the engine. This means that the Tiger800 doesn't need to be fitted with a secondary air injection system as the exhaust scavenges itself and hence saving space and weight. It's not like the usual backfiring of exhaust. It sounded and felt mechanical.I call that character!:thumb:

I'm hoping to hear from other Tiger owners as I understand that there's already 4-5 otr now.

hi joeboxer82is nice bike u have ... btw i go for the GS650 twin. hope to see u otr. cheers for your ride.

U mean e F650GS?If that's e bike u were referring to then it's another good choice for a mid size dual purpose bike.Testrode once before and being BMW,this bike has good handling prowess and a beautiful low down torque that makes the bike feels light(not that it's heavy).I think mine is e only bike currently with e OEM panniers.Honk me if u c me:angel:

Need to know whether the Tiger 800xc tyres are the tubeless or with tube type.. The specs did not indicate anything at all..

Anyone knows? It will be great if it's the tubeless type..

Yeah interested in the XC.. but not in the tube type tyres.. can be troublesome if puntured.. It's also expensive if need to convert to tubeless type rims..

haizzz wait for the money tree to grow 1st before deciding... :cheeky:
