Daelim S3 fuel injection DOHC 125cc scooter

Hi All

 

Been some time since I was on here as i had the bike offroad whilst extensive travelling took me from Singapore for a couple of months.

 

Kinda wondering what has changed since I was away as on the 3rd week of riding my helmet which was secured with a padlock to my bike was cut off in suntec car park.

 

I take responsibility for the fact it wasn't in a box (don't have one)... but seriously in 5 years here I'm pretty shocked that someone went to the trouble of "cutting" the helmet from the bike.

 

Before anyone asks, yes there are no cameras in suntec except entrance and exit, and no-one saw anything.

 

All I would ask is if anyone offers you an Arai MZ (large) white helmet for cheap, with a small crack on one of the top fins, don't buy it and do a brother a favor for the future in not supporting these idiots.

 

If anyone can suggest a cheap top box, or a second hand one that will be my next purchase... oh thats along with saving for a decent replacement helmet that fits as well as the MZ did.

 

They do say low crime doesnt mean no crime, and well I'm a believer now!

Couple of days back i was riding in heavy rain from SErangoon to tampines..At tampines when i came a stop at various traffic lights the engine stalled. I have to ramp the throttle at the traffic lights to prevent the engine from dying. Not sure why.

Sorry, i also dont remember wat tyre i using,

thinking of changing the back tyre to Duro.

 

Had some Pirelli's on mine but wont go that route again. i think the compound just too hard, and although bike handling improved, the shakes, vibration really wasnt a fair swap.

 

Friend has some Metzeller I think they are which were excellent as I recall.

Anyway updates from my S3, there seem to b a issue on e injector components as it need to b clean very often if not bike idling will b unstable n die off after riding for awhile. Replace a small component call tensioner, any1 experience this?

Think tat fuel injection is not tat great as it hv it's own problem also, still unable to replace e old carburettor concepts. Any1 kn where to get our tyres size from other shops? inputs appreciate, thanks.

sensor issues..is it ok now? good and bad for fi in my opinion. good thing is constant idling and fc. bad thing is no manual tuning.

 

tyre size I think chong aik may have in stock. or find any other shops that deals mainly in scooters.
