Previous owner claims ignorance, but that's alright.

Yesterday i went back to where i left my bike (on the pavement), crossed my fingers and started the bike. It came to life immediately. Brought it to the nearest shop to change out the plugs and so far it's been OK.

Going to bring it to CKA like so many of you recommended, but the nearest one for me is Jurong East or Bukit Batok. Are they any good in troubleshooting? Or is Kaki Bukit the only option?

Thanks all.

The toh guan branch moved to woodlands already. Maybe a better option for you. Give them a call to check when they are operational.

The problem came back today. Bike died while on idle, then difficulty starting.

After engine cut, the "CHECK" light gave 2 blinks, pause, then 1 blink.

Anyone with the service manual able to know what the problem is?

Could be injectors are dirty. I got it once with the engine check light but didn't encounter any difficulty starting or running.

Another possibility could be the alternator is faulty. Just get it to CKA for a check.

Just bring to cka for a check. They should be able to help. I only go to kaki bukit, so not sure about the rest

UPDATE: I sent my bike to CKA at bukit batok Midview building. They claim to have found the problem being the rectifier and i paid $120+ for it to be replaced.

I asked them "Confirm rectifier spoil?" They replied "CONFIRM."

Four days later, bike died again with the same problem. Same Error Code. I'm still considering going back there, and whether it would just be a waste of time and money.

I also noticed that they don't have a clue what the Error Fault codes are for the bike. I told them the Error Code, which would specifically tell them what was wrong, but they ignored it. I can't seem to find the Servicing Manual for this bike anywhere on the net, and i really wish i could see for myself what the Error Codes mean...

I think you should go back to them first, if still cannot solve maybe go to kb branch and see if they can help

Bro,

Rollers not really improve anything but will wear off the other items.

Just to update the community.

Just had it looked at by Roy, apparently its a loose brake pump.

They helped to tighten it and problem solved for now.

Brought this problem to 2 other non-cka bike shop all dont know what they doing one.

Great service and they really know their stuff at Kaki Bukit.

Hi forumers, I dont have the manual so cant check this out, but is there a reserve tank on this bike?

If so how to activate it?

Pushed the limits on the petrol tank and starved the engine on way to station.

To be fair, the petrol indicator was blinking for quite a while

had to push bike to the pump station. :weep:

I don't think there's a button for reserve. Once the fuel indicator is blinking its in the reserve tank. It's about 1.1 litre.

ud Not wrong reserve is 1.9l. The fuel gauge is not that accurate so normally when it left 2 to 3 bars I'll refuel. At the same time can inflate tyres.

Coz i really don't wana pick up my bike in the morning for work just to find the battery is dead flat....
