Need advice on bigger Amp battery

I'm thinking of changing to a bigger size battery to solve my battery problem but im worries some implications may follow, pls advice bros and sistas

changed 3mths ago and now it can last more den 1 day without starting. so im thinking of increasing the amp. currently my bike is using a 3.5amp batt. thinking of getting a 4amp or 6amp one

Your battery is not charging up.

You say you changed it 3 months back, so the battery should still be good.

 

Sounds like your alternator got problems. Get a mech to check your alternator and charging circuits.

It won't. It will just has more standby power. All equipments will just draw the power according to their needs. However the charging system may take a longer time to charge the battery fully as it is not design to cater to a higher capacity battery.

Like what chris 525 said, check your charging system. Eg Coil, rectifier and wire harness.

went to bike shop to check, charging system is perfectly fine, so gd idea to get a higher capacity battery?

if your alternator/rectifier...large enough to do the job for a larger battery.

if not enough juice..the large battery will not be fully charge and you maybe wose off...as the energy is wasted in trying to charge a too large battery.

Did u install any other electrical acc. ,sometimes those electrical things may be draining your battery since you say the battery is just 3mths old and your bike charging system is gd.

tts y i dono if my rectifier is large enough, anyway i increased the idling and its much better now

i alrdy disconnected the alarm for quite awhile to test
