Just collected my GTS 200 2 days ago and awaiting for run in....read the earlier forum, the speedometer doesnt seem reliabl, nevertheless its a very relax ride, 80km/h is very smooth, really surprise me...

 

Chose this bike over PCX. No regrets so far..Njoy riding...

Hi guys, just get my gts 200few days ago. Yesterday just changed my first 300km engine oil using 15w/40 lorry use engine oil lol. Anyway i found that when i start moving my rpm already hot 4000-5000 is it normal for you guys? And when start moving on the bike will vibration even my mirror also shaking , is it normal also?:sian:

i hope anyone here can help me out...my dad's gts200 is idling at 3rpm, throttle slowly till 4 then move, then 4.5 - 5 will vibrate and jerking madly but once past 5 will then run smoothly..

 

is the idling and moving off at that range normal? and wat bout the vigorous vibration at the rpm mentioned? posting on his behalf...i rode his bike once a while too...

 

thx to anyone tat willing to impart their knowledge to me :angel:

Hmm i think your idiling speed supposed to be 1.8 to 2 (Normal Range) (3 is about too high) If this is carb bike you can tune down the idiling yourself. If not bring to a bike shop. Yes When moving off, it will vibrate abit. but not violently. If violently jerking that means your transmission box might have some problem. Go get it check before more damage is done.

 

thx for the info bro...honestly im not too sure carb or not...if carb where do i tune to adjust the idling? my dad drop by future scootering a few times before to change some stuff under my recommendation as ive seen many positive reviews of their services in this forum but i find their pricing a lil steep...r u a regular there?

 

anyway saw ur sig u rode super4 before... a cuiser to streetbike to scooter is quite a change heh heh heh i jz got my hands on a version S! :thumb:
