Hmmm, the difference quite significant. wen moving off, the pick up definitely improved a lot. then now also no need to open the throttle too much to gain speed. felt like a little twist would already make the bike move a lot

 

the best part is dat just now i go at 85++km/h, the rpm still can maintain just nice at 8. dunno if its supposed to be like dat or not but i'm quite happy leh. dunno if i go 100 the rpm can still maintain lower tahn 10 or not, but tonite will try

 

wen i fixed the boosters, the bros at the shop also told there r a few vara riders who came to the shop and wanted to install the boosters also. i told him to expect more to turn up soon, haha!

 

but being me, i still m not satisfied with the current speed. its not dat i like to speed on the road or a racer wannabe. if u see hw i ride also u mite b wondering y i want so much power from my bike. but i just felt dat my vara should be able to go faster. must feel the power in between my legs

hey there i dunno the diff in the boosters cos u know i just got the bike havent fully ride it then i install it withing 2 days of owning it so i cant really comment. cos my previous bike the pick up is faster

 

what i tend to do now is when at traffic lights is. open throttle to around 3000rpms then realase clutch slowly till 4000 rpms. the pick up is much better after 4000rpms

 

i dont really know my speed cos i can tell eheh

 

to niti i need to confirm with u again on sunday cos i dont have my rooster out yet thanks for the offer bro

Details are outlined in the "cruisers" thread. Certain details are still being ironed out but the general schedule is there. We are celebrating our first anniversary and of course, we hope to meet more bikers and friends for touring or otherwise..keke.. We hope to also invite Ghost riders MG to grace our event and we hope to introduce trunk road riding in malaysia. Hope to see U!

wow how much petrol u gonna waste..

 

 

 

i used to do that when u first got the bike... and after 350km, im out of petrol and have to switch to reserve... after then... icase of 'emergency' then i do that lah..

i usually do that esp when a im in between traffic at the traffic lights.

better get out quickly of that tight situation.

 

not worried bout the petrol consumption but more on the wear n tear of the engine n chain.

 

anyway visual i read somewhere that ur battery when flat on u.

when was that?

mine is already 2 years n havent been changed at all i can see that the instrumentation display lights are lazy only after ramming my bike will it light up fully.

 

do u think its time to change.

sure vara84 the more the merrier but i must really checked my roster before confirming again. felt like a fool the last time had to cancel last minute do to last minute work commitments. Once again sorry guys.

that was my old suzuki GN125, (my dads bike actually)

suddenly one day cannot e-start, cos batery like not enough juice to power up...

 

ur batt, donno lah... if that the case.. maybe its time.. cos when u ramm full speed it get charged, but when u stop the bike.. after sometime the power is gone.. coudl be the batt is dying soon... batt is about $45...

 

dont know if they make "amarom" battery for bike. heard that really good.. *for cars lah that is*

Hey guys, I wont be able to make it lah, some commitments...and anyway, I alread top up full tank here... Saturday I will be free though, but if u guys not free go ahead as planned lah..But I was thinking if one day we just meet up in spore, that way can get more ppl to join right? ppl like ltc and haeikal and simone seems bz to go jb, in spore just makan should be ok right?? mayb if after u guys top up petrol we meet up here i can make it about same time as simone...12 plus...

db2mstr, can I check with u, the sticker u made, they can make 2 colors on one sticker? they painted the black shadow over the orange sticker is it? Sorry the posting was kinda some time back but I just browsed the 'beyond the screen' forum, all this while i only check this forum...

like that i sort of like kena cheated man... i made my transalp sticker there...got two overlapping design of diff colors, so they make differently, end up kena charge $9x4=36 RM...now i realise i kena cheated cos u make 1 for 9 only, so should charge me RM18 if they have made them as one....hmmmm...

 

Anyway, actually this weekend should really meet up lah...more the merrier...just in spore for a while makan and see bike.....take photo or what as visual has planned so much earlier...hmm, cos I will be gtting my new bike next week, so that means goodbye to my beloved vara can make it as a 'sending off' for vara84...

 

my vara still no buyer..ppl who wanna buy all no cash...now company dun do refinancing...asked my bike shop, the reasoning they gave me was quite logical but we as customers do not realise it..he said they dun do refinancing to make us having hard time selling our bike, so they can buy our bikes at cheaper prices in the end..if they do refinancing, everyone buy from each other, they no business...quite smart huh...that explains it...hmmm, so my vara will be left at bike shop for them to try sell for me...

Well, not to worry too much on the fuel side. I travel total of 410km before I start to use the reserved. Note that I have travelled on 125kmh very frequently, thus, meaning that the fuel consumption is somehow reduce lah...

 

Maybe can check with Niti how's the output?

I have to check whether can I claim my time owing on that day?? Anyway, I need to send back my bike to my agent for full service lah... Not sure where got problem... my bike wobble on the handle side.... also I think the tyre is balding lah...... Will let you know... if not I can only meet up after 4.30pm lah...
