Whats UP DaWgZ!!

archie84>>> I would recommend u vara125...from bottom of my heart...i guess u already read what fellow vara commented on the bike...so go for it bro...in the long run...u save money...trust me...v-twin engine is durable...if u take corner....phew!....torquey babe!...power!....no worry...u only haf to worry about the air filter and spark plug only....i am glad that i bought the bike that i really want...before buying this bike...i was contemplating whether to buy x9, x8, wr200, scooter or vara....i almost bought an x8....but in the dying minutes...i decided to follow my heart....tell u...i never regret...my motto is simple..."i dun ride with speed...i ride with style"...my bike wont make a lot of noise...so higher chance wont kena stop by TP or Tiger Squad....since ur parents giving u loan...better still...dun worry a single thing about repossesion of ur bike....warm up ur bike every morning....u will be safe...juz like an apple a day keep the doctor away....

fleaz>>> take ur time...dun worry....dun rush...varadero 125 still in production...once u got ur license...then u think...now concentrate on ur TP....pass it...then u think which bike to buy...if u already decided...thats good!...but vara125...power to max!....can go to KL without stopping...u think phantom can...u think KR can...u think x1 or wave can...i dun think so...power babe!

Guys please add the colour of choice (undercowl) next to your nick.

prodero>>>Wah! Brother you dare to pull such a stunt in Singapore. If you kena stopped by TP you go to jail unless your friend want to admit that he lend you the bike which i doubt so. He has to say that you stole his bike. Aint worth it bro 2 offences at one go your license could be suspended or banned. My advice is if you really want to ride big bike better get your license fast. Worth the wait. By the way i cant make it this saturday because i am werking. And by the way i look through this forum u guyz are really cool bunch!

archie84 bro no offence but vara125 is one of the expensive 2b around, this bike got value n demand n its spain imported, unlike cheap thai made phantom or sp motor....juz for ya info...so better tink carefully b4 buyin, but if ya really die die want n can tahan da price ok go boy...hehehe! o_O

I dun think it's a good idea to mention Phantom or SP or KR as cheapo bikes, altogether vara, phantom or SP, are 3 totally different class of bikes, and there each have it's pro and cons,

But I do know is, an KR / SP / Phantom rider will say to counter react such provocative remark is: Anyone of the above 3 bikes can eat a stock Vara for breakfast anytime dude.

Of course speed is up to individual, u can say that u dun go for speed, BUT WE don't want to portray ourselves as the ones only got money to buy (Ya Ya Papaya), then the rest of the 2b bikes are worthless machine. (Some might even call us Ku-Ku for spending so much for a heavy and yet 125cc machine) For first time reader, PLS this is not the case, all bikes have their own character and stuffs.

What I am trying to say is, let's not start such negative things about other bikes, cos the consequence is unpredictable. (Wait till u ride alone, and those KRs, SPs and Phantom come and let u smell their smoke, then u will know all these unnecessary damage will never end) Who knows might even cost u ur life in an attempt to race.

Strictly no offence for the rest of the Vara riders, (I am one too, but at least I try to be humble a little and this will make this place a nicer environment to be in)

My 0.2 cents.....

Achies, (did I get ur name right?)

If u really like a Vara, go for a 2nd hand one, you'll loss lesser should u want to upgrade to a class 2a or 2.

Or another way, forsake glam but stress on transport and fun, buy the Yamaha 125Z a pretty and pratical little monster, another good, trustworthy and practical bike, Phantom.

What are some ways to increase pick-up of Vara 125?

Install power booster?

Install Superione?

Would like to hear some feedback on bros who have used any of the above. Would like to know where can buy them too.

For all those who are comtemplating a Vara125, test ride the bike during the meetup (if you got licence). If not, concentrate on your TP first.

I even used to swear by Daelim, note my nick....same model :cheeky: :cheeky:

But then 3 :cheer: 's for Vara125.

I have installed power booster. Low end torque increased. Better pick up too.

No change in fuel consumption though.

I think pingster installed superione. review seems to be good.

btw, if you want to install superione. I have the 1st generation TurboIn (get mechanic to install for you). Can contact me at this email [email protected]. Letting off at $50/pc. I have 2 pcs.
